On June 23, 2006 the Guyette & Schmidt, Inc. retail gallery opened at 933 Talbot Street, St. Michaels, Maryland.
The gallery features antique hunting decoys from all over the US and Canada, decorative carvings, contemporary carvings,
flat art, decoy books, and accessories. All decoys have a guaranteed description, including maker, age and condition.

The purpose of the Guyette & Schmidt, Inc. gallery is to expose the public to decoy collecting in a secure environment
by providing guaranteed merchandise at reasonable prices. Decoy reference books and past decoy auction catalogs will be
available for purchase or for people to use as reference sources on site.

The 1600 square foot gallery also features a local contemporary carver on a 3 month rotating basis.
From opening until October 1st the featured carver will be Richard Drescher from Cambridge, Maryland. The Ward Foundation Museum
will have a permanent presence at the gallery with rotating displays of Ward Brothers Decoys, Madison Mitchell decoys, etc.
The Easton, Maryland Waterfowl Festival, Havre de Grace Decoy Museum, and Tuckerton, New Jersey Seaport Museum will also
have a permanent presence at the gallery.
