DINING
There are more than fifty restaurants in downtown Portsmouth within walking distance of the Sheraton. Portsmouth is a walking city, easily strollable day and night. The Seacoast Guide lists most of the best restaurants in the city, many of which feature al fresco dining.

Bauer and Columbia.

There are enough activities, attractions and events in the Portsmouth area to keep visitors there for weeks.
The Visitor Center staff has narrowed down a few options that might be great fun for spouse activities:
Harbour Trail Walking Tour - Daily at 10:30 a.m., starting at the Visitor Information Kiosk in Market Square.
The tour winds through the city's quaint downtown and waterfront and features history, architecture, tugboats,
horticulture, museums and even a submarine. $10 per person; $8 p/p for groups of ten or more.
Fuller Gardens - Open daily 10 - 5. Spectacular array of lovely formal gardens commissioned by Govern
Alvan T. Fuller. $7 per person.
Strawbery Banke - Open daily 10 - 5. Famous living history museum featuring restored and furnished buildings
where visitors can experience New England life from 1695 through the 1950's. $15 per person.

EVENING
Portsmouth is rich in the performing arts, from the award-winning Music Hall
