March 14, 2008 Cash, Check & Carry Auction

On March 14th, Guyette & Schmidt, Inc. conducted a small cash & carry auction at the Ohio Decoy Collectors Show in Westlake, Ohio. The auction grossed $107,750. Top lot in the sale was a flattie yellowlegs by Elmer Crowell which sold for $5,750. The auction allowed no phone, absentee or internet bidding and was unreserved. Zac Cote did most of the cataloging for the sale. Zac has been working part time for Guyette & Schmidt, Inc. for around 18 months.

Port Clinton auctioneer, Bob Kaspar did the bid calling.

Currently we plan on having an auction in 2009 at the show but will probably make absentee bidding available.
